The Evening Festivities

I had included this post in her birthday party post but I deleted it by mistake. I want to remember it so here it is... Caroline and me at Buca Di Beppo.
Little Elizabeth, peek-a-boo was the game of the night.
This is Caroline when the waitress (the LOUD waitress) announced her name to everyone in the room and that it was her birthday. She looked like a deer in the headlights.
She loved the tall candle. Everyone in the room was looking at our birthday girl in her Cinderella dress-up singing the birthday song, it was so sweet!
She blew out the candle and hid behind Rob, it was darling!!

Animal Farm

"who is it?"
"Oh, just another idiot with a camera..."
"Please don't take my picture."
"Listen you with your khaki knee length shorts and "I Love Jim" t-shirt, you heard the lady, no pictures!"
"I feel like some freak at a circus!"
"You see this eye? It's called evil, don't make me get my wire cutters..."
You !#*%*!# humans!

"Yo-Ho! Yo-Ho! A Pirates' Life for Me!"

Cast and crew.
First clue.
I dare you!
The "wenches."
"I think I know who you are..."
"I don't get paid enough."
"What is this, get this off of me!"
Setting sail.

I had to document Johnny, Mitchell, and Gabe's pirate bash. It was quite the party! We all went on a treasure hunt with Pirate Eric at the helm and the birthday boys taking the lead. Here are a few pics. For the whole "experience," go here.

How To Feel Great About Being A Mother

I recently read the most inspiring book, it's called How to Feel Great About Being a Mother. It was one of those books that leaves you with all sorts of plans and great ideas. It was a very motivational book for me. One of the things the author, Amy Hardison, talks about is goal setting. Goal setting should be easy shouldn't it? Her method of goal setting seems simple, but as I've sat down to set goals it's not as easy as I thought it would be.

Has anyone out there not been a goal setter and then become one? How did you do it? Any pointers?
