Rob's Birthday & Karen and Family- March 2009

Karen, Clint, and baby Charlotte came for a visit. It was great to finally meet Charlotte and catch up with Karen and Clint. Here we are at yet another one of Rob's birthday celebrations.
Rob blew out all the candles in one breath, how does he do it?!

Happy Birthday Rob! March 10, 2009

We went to Chevy's for Rob's birthday. The food there is AMAZING! Just kidding. It's not amazing but they sing to you and that's what we wanted.
The important thing is that the girls had a great time and Rob got a sombrero.

Elizabeth got french fries.
And by the look of Caroline's teeth she had chocolate.

Random Acts of Childhood

Alright! Who's the heathen?
I always looked forward to the day when I would have children of my own and they would pick flowers for me. Caroline and Elizabeth have started to bring me flowers all the time. It's so sweet and so sincere. Somedays they clutch fistfuls of weeds and lay them on the counter with a smile. Weeds. Roses. They're all the same to me.
Chasing rainbows.

Ebay -March 2009

This is worth remembering, Rob was on Ebay and found me 80 something pieces of my china for $21. Way to go Rob!

Meeting ALL the babies- February 20, 2009

In February Jennifer and I went to visit all the new babies. They were SO cute and we had such a good time with our family. Here we all are at dinner with my Aunt Mary and Uncle Tex
Jennifer, my beautiful mother, and me.

Three sleeping babies at a restaurant.
Me and Jessica and one of her darling twins.
My cousin Curt brought his little boy Calvin to meet the babies as well, it was GREAT to see them!
The best parents in the world with a sleepy Naomi.
My dear Aunt Mary and all the rest of us girls (and babies of course). My Aunt Mary had us over to go swimming and she made taffy. It felt like old times and I LOVED it!
XOXO Aunt Mary!

Pictures That Will Make Me Miss Her

Squishy, warm and smelling sweet.

Valentines Day Take Two

The day after Valentine's Day was a Sunday. On the way home from church I mentioned to Rob that I wanted to make sugar cookies for the girls. Rob knew that what I really meant was that I wanted him to make sugar cookies for the girls, so while all the girls slept (including myself) Rob worked his magic. I woke up just in time to cut a couple of hearts out of the dough. I did this long enough to get this picture taken. See how it works?
Caroline woke up in time to count the cookies. Isn't she cute?
And this is the finished product. We had a nice dinner with sugar cookies for dessert. Thanks Rob you did it again!
